NEW YORK: Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is distantly related to the late Princess Diana and late US president Franklin Roosevelt, genealogy experts said on Wednesday.

Access to the vast microfilm records of FamilySearch is now available to the public through the History and Genealogy department at the Marion Public Library.

The Southeastern Oklahoma History and Genealogy Conference, sponsored by the Friends of the Oklahoma Historical Society Archives and the Three Valley Museum, begins 8 a.m. Nov. 15 at the First Presbyterian Church, 501 N.
